1. What is the Premium Benefits programme?

Premium Benefits is a free programme from BGL BNP Paribas which offers some unique events and exclusive advantages to World Mastercard Gold, Gold Priority, Platinum and Elite BGL BNP Paribas card holders in the following 4 categories:
• Culture and Lifestyle
• Gastronomy
• Sport and Well-being
• Travel

2. How can I benefit from the Premium Benefits offer?

  1. Subscribe to a World Mastercard card with BGL BNP Paribas, and
  2. Register with the Premium Benefits programme.

3. How do I register with the Premium Benefits programme?

The procedure is very simple! Click simply the "register” link, at the top right of the homepage on www.premium-benefits.lu.

  1. You will be asked to enter your activation code, received by post or shown on your BGL BNP Paribas card contract.
  2. Once identified, fill in the personal information form.

You will receive a message confirming your registration with the programme. That’s it. You’re registered! You now have direct access to the proposed offers.

4. What information do I need to register on the Premium Benefits website?

To activate your account, you need your activation code and a valid email address. You then need to fill in your contact details and choose a password. You will receive an email confirming your registration.

5. Do I need to fill in this form each time I go to the Premium Benefits website?

No, you only need to fill it in once. Thereafter, your email address and password will be enough to log in to www.premium-benefits.lu, using the 'login' link at the top right of the www.premium-benefits.lu homepage.

6. I have just taken out a Mastercard card associated with the Premium Benefits programme. Can I register on the Premium Benefits website immediately?

Your activation code is being processed in our systems.  Please come back to the Premium Benefits website in 24 hours.

7. What should I do if I have not received my activation code?

Contact BGL BNP Paribas on (+352) 42 42 2000 or talk to your usual contact at the bank. You must have an activation code to enjoy Premium Benefits events and benefits.

8. Where can I find my activation code?

The activation code was mailed to you. It can also be found in the Mastercard contract you signed with your BGL BNP Paribas bank.

9. What should I do if I forget or misplace my activation code?

Ask your bank to send you a new activation code. Call (+352) 42 42 2000 or talk to your usual contact at the bank.

10. How can I access the events and benefits in the Premium Benefits programme?

Once you’re registered with Premium Benefits, simply click the 'Login' link and enter your email address and password. You can then benefit from the offers available to holders of the World Mastercard BGL BNP Paribas Gold, Gold Priority, Platinum or Elite card.
Please note that some offers in the programme are reserved for holders of Priority, Platinum or Elite cards.

11. What should I do if I forget my password?

Simply click the 'Lost password' button. You will immediately receive a message asking you to answer the security question you chose when setting up your account on the website. Enter the right answer and choose a new password.

12. How can I log in if I have changed my email address?

You will need to log in with your old email address and your password, click 'My Account' and then change your email address.

13. Will my bank card be debited if I register on the Premium Benefits website?

No. Registration is free.

14. Should I register again on the Premium Benefits website when my card is renewed or if it is replaced due to loss or theft?

No. If you are renewing the same card on the same account, you will not have to re-register.

15. I don’t have a World Mastercard BGL BNP Paribas Gold, Gold Priority, Platinum or Elite card. Can I register on the Premium Benefits website?

You can look at the programme's offers, but you will not have access to the benefits. To get one of these cards or to change your card for one that gives you access to the unique events and exclusive benefits, contact your BGL BNP Paribas bank on (+352) 42 42-2000 or talk to your usual contact at the bank.

16. As a card holder of the World Mastercard BGL BNP Paribas Gold, Gold Priority, Platinum or Elite card, am I entitled to all the events and benefits of the Premium Benefits programme?

Premium Benefits offers you a very wide range of advantages and events in 4 different fields: Culture and Lifestyle, Sport and Well-being, Gastronomy and Travel.
In some cases, this selection may be extended gradually as the bank card held with the Bank is upgraded (from Gold to Elite).
To help you find your way around, we have placed pictograms of the cards concerned alongside each event and advantage in the catalogue of offers, which you can see even if you are not logged in.
Once logged in, only those offers available to you will be visible in your personal space, with possibly a preview of what is on offer with the next card up in the range.

17. I have several different cards for the same bank account. What events and benefits am I entitled to?

It’s the highest card that determines the offers you are entitled to. For example, if you have both a Gold and a Platinum card, you have access to all the benefits reserved for Platinum card holders.

18. What is the significance of the “kitty” shown on the events pages and at top right on the website home page?

As well as the exceptional rates offered through our Premium Benefits scheme, BGL BNP Paribas is also pleased to offer you a financial contribution called “kitty”, to be deducted from the offers you decide to accept, that you can see by signing into your Premium Benefits account. The more you use your BGL BNP Paribas World Mastercard or the more transactions you carry out with Digicash, the more your kitty increases.

19. How is the Premium Benefits kitty calculated?

Your kitty constitutes a privilege offered by BGL BNP Paribas. It varies depending on:
• the type of World Mastercard card(s) you hold (Gold, Gold Priority, Platinum or Elite)
• the period of expenditure: the way the kitty is calculated has been changed several times since the launch of Premium Benefits
• the amounts you spend using your World MasterCard or with Digicash, today your kitty represents 0.11% of your expenditure
• the moment you visit the site: the kitty is updated weekly

The awarding of amounts to the kitty is a non-contractual privilege.

The kitty cannot be converted into any form of currency.

You can view the balance of your kitty by logging in to premium-benefits.lu.

20. I have several accounts and several cards. Are they combined for the purposes of the kitty?

If you hold more than one World Mastercard card linked to the same account, the amounts earned on expenditure effected with these cards will accumulate in the same kitty.

If you hold more than one World Mastercard linked to various accounts, then these cannot be combined or added together.

However you can have more than one Premium Benefits account if you have more than one bank account with BGL BNP Paribas. Each bank account will have a specific Premium Benefits account with its associated kitty.

21. Do I lose my kitty if I get a new BGL BNP Paribas World Mastercard (renewal, loss or theft of my card)?

No. In the case of loss or theft of the card, the transactions carried out prior to the loss of the card will be carried forward onto the new card. So you keep your entire kitty, allowing you to benefit from the Premium Benefits offers.

22. Is there a time limit to the validity of my kitty?

Your kitty is valid for a period of 24 months.
For each transaction carried out with your World Mastercard or with Digicash, the amount added to the kitty will expire 24 months from the date of the transaction during the weekly updates of your kitty.
The expiry of the amounts in the kitty takes place without compensation or prior notice.
Each week your kitty will be recalculated according to the following elements:
• the accumulated amount of your kitty,
• deducted from the amount due to expire, and
• increased by the amount accumulated following your latest purchases.

If you hold a BGL BNP Paribas World Mastercard, you have only to sign up for the newsletter via the website premium-benefits.lu. You can then choose to receive e-mails informing you of new events and exclusive benefits. You can also view all the offers on the website premium-benefits.lu.

24. I took part in an event and want to write something about it on the website. What do I do?

In your Personal area, click 'My account' then 'My feedback' and post your message. All posts will be submitted to the Premium Benefits team for approval before being published.

25. How can I update my profile on the Premium Benefits website?

To update your profile, log in and click 'My account'. You will then be able to update your personal information such as your email address, postal address and your registration to receive monthly Premium Benefits news by email.

26. Can my Premium Benefits account be deleted if it is inactive?

As long as you still hold a World Mastercard BGL BNP Paribas bank card, and still have your login details (email address and password), you will be able to log in, go to your profile and access events and benefits. BGL BNP Paribas may delete your registration if your bank account has been closed or if you no longer hold a Mastercard BGL BNP Paribas Gold, Gold Priority, Platinum or Elite card.
